Why Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

SAR works in any weather or light conditions, making it a natural complement to the sources you already rely on. Optical imagery is limited by cloud and night. Ship transponders (AIS) can be switched off. Drones provide close detail, but can’t cover wide areas for long. SAR keeps watching reliably across large areas and shows where to look closer.
