ICEYE strengthens leadership team with the appointment of Marko Ahtisaari as Chief Marketing Officer
Design and technology entrepreneur Ahtisaari joins ICEYE to spearhead the next phase of global market expansion.
Helsinki, Finland – October 14th, 2025 – ICEYE, the global leader in SAR satellite operations, announced today the appointment of Marko Ahtisaari as Chief Marketing Officer to strengthen the leadership team and lead the brand as the company prepares for the next stage of growth.
Marko brings a wealth of experience in leadership, technology, and design in both multinational corporations and startups. Previously, Marko was Executive Vice President of Design at Nokia, where he was responsible for both hardware and user interface design. Prior to his time at Nokia, he was CEO and co-founder of Dopplr and Head of Brand and Design at Blyk, a free ad-funded mobile network. He also serves as Board Chair of CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation.
