Tactical Access
The right imagery, at the right granularity, at the right time - so you can make the right call.
Mission-critical collections
Tactical Access gives defense and intelligence teams a new way to secure satellite capacity when it matters the most.
Our unique capacity-reservation model lets you reserve SAR satellite imaging passes from the entire ICEYE fleet over your area of interest, when you need them.
As an annual subscription-based product, Tactical Access is ideal for customers with large daily imagery volumes and demanding requirements for tasking flexibility and prompt imagery delivery.
See and react to changes on Earth in near real-time
it's all about timing
Lock in guaranteed imaging windows—even during surge demand or conflict—so missions stay on track without interruptions.
If the situation changes, you can re-task targets and adjust imaging settings up to two hours before the satellite passes overhead, which is critical for time‑sensitive operations and crisis response.
Book collection passes across the ICEYE fleet for the critical windows you need in your areas of interest.
A transparent arbitration system sets clear, fair rules for who gets imaging time.
Adjust targets up to two hours before the pass.
Receive processed imagery in under 1 hour via EDGE processor and Direct Downlink.
An optional antenna and EDGE processor give you sole custody of imagery data.
Acquire multiple images of the same area of interest. All taken, processed and downlinked in the same satellite pass.
Tactical Access
With Tactical Access, you can lock in satellite time and task at the last moment. Imagery is delivered quickly and securely via EDGE processor and Direct Downlink.
1. Book a pass for a specific time.
Secure a pass from the global fleet that is aligned with your operational window.
2. Task close to the satellite pass.
Finalize targets and commands close to the overpass to meet last‑minute intelligence needs.
3. Collect what matters.
Capture the exact images and coverage over your areas of interest.
4. Receive quickly and securely.
Get direct, secure delivery of imagery — optionally pushed to your own ground station within the area of operations.
5. Exploit immediately.
On‑board processing and direct downlinking supports quick decision-making and immediate exploitation.
Multiple image acquisition
With Tactical Access, you can capture up to 15 individual scenes within a single satellite access window using beam steering. You can take images during a single pass over a region, or back-to-back acquisitions in adjacent regions, and then repeat as necessary. The imagery is taken, processed, and downlinked in the same satellite pass.
Three satellite passes with 15 image captures per pass over the DMZ area between North Korea and South Korea.
