ICEYE and KT SAT partner to bring near real-time flood intelligence to South Korea

The first deployment of ICEYE Solutions in South Korea delivers advanced flood intelligence to support faster, more informed disaster response

SEOUL, Korea – July 23, 2026 – ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, today announced a strategic partnership with KT SAT to deliver advanced flood monitoring solutions to South Korean government agencies and commercial organizations.

The partnership marks the first deployment of ICEYE Solutions in South Korea and the first use of the technology by the Korean Government. Under the agreement, KT SAT will leverage ICEYE Solutions, including data products generated from ICEYE's world-leading SAR satellite constellation, to provide near real-time hazard monitoring and flood damage intelligence that supports faster, more informed disaster response.

Through the partnership, KT SAT will offer a suite of GIS-ready data solutions for the South Korean market, including flood monitoring and land subsidence monitoring, helping customers improve situational awareness before, during, and after natural disasters.

The Korean Government will utilize ICEYE's Flood Rapid Impact solution during the country's annual monsoon season. Within hours of the first signs of a flood event, the solution delivers detailed flood extent maps derived from SAR satellite observations, providing emergency managers with a near real-time understanding of a flood's scale and the areas most affected, even through cloud cover, smoke, or darkness.

The partnership is also expected to expand over time to support additional local government agencies and commercial customers with satellite-based data solutions for emergency management, environmental monitoring, and broader resilience planning.
