How does it work in practice?

Our service fits programs with high daily image volumes that need tasking flexibility and fast delivery. You lock in satellite time in advance and finalize the details late. If the situation changes, you can re-task targets and adjust imaging settings up to 40 minutes before the satellite passes overhead.

Reserve a pass for a specific time.

Reserve passes over your area of interest from the ICEYE fleet, up to 14 days ahead. Reserved passes give you priority access to the constellation when you need it.

Task close to the satellite pass.

Finalize targets and commands close to the overpass to meet last-minute intelligence needs. You can define targets as late as 40 minutes before the pass and control the trade-off between resolution, number of looks, and scene count.

Collect SAR imagery.

The satellite acquires the imagery on the pass you booked, in the modes you specified. SAR collection works through cloud, smoke, and darkness, so the data arrives regardless of weather or time of day. Images are then delivered through your chosen path: cloud delivery, EDGE on site, or direct downlink to your own antenna.

Direct downlink to your ground station.

With an optional ICEYE-provided antenna and image processing system on your premises, you can downlink, process, and deliver imagery within minutes of collection. All downlinked images are deleted from ICEYE satellites so that sensitive data never leaves your secure domain; you hold sole custody from downlink onward.

Preexisting customer antennas can be accommodated.  Cloud delivery is also supported - a ground station is not required.
