ICEYE appoints Yasuhiro Tsukahara as CEO of ICEYE Japan to lead strategic market expansion

Tokyo – September 5, 2025 - ICEYE, the global leader in SAR satellite operations, announced today the appointment of Yasuhiro “Pete” Tsukahara as Chief Executive Officer of ICEYE Japan. This strategic leadership role solidifies ICEYE's accelerated commitment and investment in Japan's rapidly growing space industry. The appointment signals ICEYE's plan to significantly strengthen its role in national strategic projects and commercial resilience by manufacturing satellites and providing satellite-based services from Japan as a Japanese company.

Mr. Tsukahara brings over 29 years of experience in the aerospace and national security sectors in Japan, including prior roles as COO of Japan Space Imaging Corporation and Deputy General Manager at Mitsubishi Corporation.
